Missions & Ministries Near and Far

Day of Prayer for Camps - May 25, 2025

Payer Requests from Frontier Lodge

• Rooted in God’s Provision - Pray that God provides the right people to fill the remaining key roles, especially in the kitchen and other support areas, so camp can thrive.
• Rooted in Christ’s Love - Pray that campers encounter Jesus in a deep and personal way, growing strong in their faith and trust in Him.
• Rising as Leaders - Pray for unity, energy, and wisdom for the staff as they disciple campers and lead with servant hearts.
• Rising to the Challenge - Pray for protection, strength, and endurance for campers and staff through all activities and adventures.
• Flourishing Beyond Camp - Pray that the faith and friendships formed at Frontier Lodge will continue to grow and bear fruit long after summer ends.

Prayer Requests from Camp Livingstone

  • For every bunk to be filled!
  • Peace with our lake neighbours (Camps can get noisy at times!) but importantly, to build relationships with those neighbours so they understand the importance of what the camp is doing, to be a witness to them of graciousness and respect and care for them, creative ways to reach out to them to share Christ & His love with them in tangible ways
  • For qualified and willing people to join the board
  • That the lake would pass all the tests throughout the summer season so the beach remains open
  • That the American summer missionaries will make it through the border agents/customs(May 31st) and be admitted to Canada for the summer
  • That God will guide us to a window company that can change our dining hall windows at a reasonable cost
  • For the personal & spiritual growth and unity of all Summer Missionaries

Prayer Requests from Parole de Vie

  • Our camper numbers are currently low, and we're hoping to have around 40 campers each week. Please pray for more kids to sign up.
  • We’re still in need of a lifeguard and a childcare worker for the summer—pray that those positions will be filled soon.
  • Most importantly, please pray for our staff as we share the gospel with the campers. Pray that many will come to know Christ, rededicate their lives to Him, or feel called to follow Him wholeheartedly—even to the ends of the earth.

Prayer Requests from Camp Kwayakotage

  • Please pray for more volunteers at camp for program (play, crafts, songs, games, campfire). We are a family centered camp and we would love to have families join us on a summer mission.
  • For First Nation believers to participate and contribute to our camp. They are a powerful witness.
  • For open hearts and a strengthening of relationships with our Algonquin friends.

Prayer Requests from Parkside Ranch

  • The Lord’s continued provision for summer staffing needs
  • The Holy Spirit soften and prepare the hearts of our campers to respond to the gospel
  • The Lord’s guidance through a number of transitions at Parkside
  • The health & safety of our summer staff
  • The health of our horse herd

Update from the Lilfords and Rock for All Ages - May 25, 2025

Dear all,
Attached is the recent report from Pasto Major covering some recent events during the month.
Unfortunately due to a number of different reasons, there were not the number of people expected to attending the three venues.
Thank you for the wonderful support that you have given this ministry, whether it be financially or in prayer, all so much appreciated.
Over the last few months I have put together a Succession Plan for the ministry with the goal to decide what direction the RFAAZT ministry should  take in the future.
Having now realised the complexity and multiple challenges involved in trying to make this happen plus the number of issues that would be faced both in Canada and in Zimbabwe, a decision needs to be made.
So in the next few weeks I will be notifying all parties involved as to what decisions have been made regarding the future of the ministry.
Take care and blessings,
Steve
